Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) is the next step up in the PADI Professional "ladder" and earned by achieving 25 student certifications as an OWSI and instructor level certification in five or more specialties.  A part of the IDC Al Mahara offers training in five (5) key Specialties which will provides pre certification for those specialties so that when the pre-requisite student certification are achieved application can be made to PADI to upgrade your membership.  MSDT equips instructors to teach Specialty Courses for which they have been certified leading to certifying Master Scuba Divers (MSD) - the PADI "Black Belt" of recreational diving

Whilst current Instructors who require specialties can of course join MSDT training following IDCs, Al Mahara will be offering instructor specialty training throughout the year conducted by our resident Course Director and supported by the IDC Staff Instructional Team. A couple instructor specialty courses are included in the 2016 Programme but   look out on the website for more details throughout the year.  We will be running the standard PADI instructor certifications as swe3ll as some of our unique and guest specialties.
